International Festival of Glass

Celebrating 50 years of Studio Glass worldwide and 400 years of glassmaking in Stourbridge, thousands of visitors come to the Stourbridge Glass Quarter to be amazed and enthralled at the workshops, demonstrations and artists sharing their love for glass during the International Festival of Glass.

Details of the next International Festival of Glass will be announced in due course.

Join some of the most talented glass artists from all over the world as they demonstrate an eclectic and inspiring mix of glass techniques.  There will be an exciting programme of workshops, lectures and exhibitions. The Stourbridge Glass Quarter will be alive with family activities including a teenage market, family fun day, lively street entertainment, storytelling, puppet shows, costumed interpreters and a fabulous Festival Finale.

British Glass Biennale

The British Glass Biennale is the foremost exhibition of excellence in contemporary glass by artists, designers and craftspeople currently working in Britain.

Taking place every two years it is the highlight of the International Festival of Glass and with its growing international status, attracts top collectors and enthusiasts from around the world.

The next BGB exhibition will take place on Friday 25 August until Saturday 9 September 2017.
